Perceptive Pixel is looking for versatile, detail-oriented QA engineers with a software engineering background.  We develop complete, nuts-to-bolts multi-touch and pen and touch solutions, including hardware and software.

We are expanding our QA group on pace with a growing software engineering team.  We’re looking for people that are comfortable communicating to other groups within the company and if need be, with customers directly.  The ideal candidate has a knack for finding the weakness of a particular solution – a passion for testing and breaking stuff.

Multiple full time employee and contract positions are available.

Locations: Mountain View, CA preferred.  New York, NY and Wilsonville, OR are also options. Multiple positions are available.

Requirements

  • A BS in computer science, or a strong computer science foundation with equivalent experience
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work smoothly on a team
  • A detail-oriented, positive, problem solving attitude
  • Some experience with commercial software development tools, including IDEs, profilers,
  • Experience developing test cases and a test plan in a commercial software environment
  • Familiarity with a wide range of testing practices, including unit and integration testing, fuzz testing, scenario-based testing
  • Experience with remote collaboration or other network-heavy applications a plus
  • C++ software development experience a plus
  • A good sense of UI and interaction design is a plus
  • Cross-platform testing experience a plus
