Perceptive Pixel is seeking a software developer with a passion for testing automation. We’re building the next generation of collaboration software that maintains network connectivity and synchronizes state under the hood across multiple disparate networks. Imagine hardware, software, novel HCI techniques and interaction design integrated together in a seamless solution. We’re looking for a developer that can automate the process of building, deploying and running tests of this collaboration infrastructure. We use commercial available tools and/or custom solutions as needed. We do a lot with a small and talented team, and a talented QA automation engineer is a key part of developing robust solutions.
Locations: Mountain View, CA preferred. New York, NY and Wilsonville, OR are also options.
- A BS in computer science, or a strong computer science foundation with equivalent experience
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work smoothly on a team
- 2+ years of software engineering experience
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work smoothly on a team
- A detail-oriented, positive, problem solving attitude
- Experience developing automated testing suites or using commercial automated test tools
- Experience developing test cases and a test plan in a commercial software environment
- Familiarity with a wide range of testing practices, including unit and integration testing, fuzz testing, scenario-based testing
- Network software development and/or testing experience is a plus
- Exposure to other languages, such as JAVA, C#, Python is a plus
- Experience with remote collaboration or other network-heavy applications a plus
- C++ software development experience a plus
- A good sense of UI and interaction design is a plus
- Cross-platform testing experience a plus
