Perceptive Pixel is 2009 Smithsonian National Design Award Winner

Perceptive Pixel Wins the 2009 National Design Award from the Smithsonian Institution's Cooper-Hewitt Museum

Perceptive Pixel's focus on multi-touch derives from the disparity between the vast power of modern computers and the aging interfaces people use to operate them. Though the mouse and keyboard are more than forty years old, they continue to dominate graphic computing, to the detriment of productivity and an entire new generation of users coming online.

Perceptive Pixel develops interfaces that seek to become invisible, bringing people closer to their content and removing their barriers to collaboration.

Our software and hardware allow users to manipulate their information naturally and intuitively. The rapid proliferation of Perceptive Pixel's ideas and technologies earned our founder, Jeff Han, the distinction of being named One of the World's 100 Most Influential People by Time Magazine in 2008.

Our company is every bit as unique as the technology. We maintain a tremendous commitment to basic research into the Human Computer Interface, and our talented engineering team continues to publish in top-tier peer-reviewed publications. This way we best ensure our hardware and software solutions remain at the very top of our field.

Perceptive Pixel's products are used in numerous markets including medical imaging, broadcast, defense, energy exploration, geo-intelligence, and industrial design. We are privately held and located in New York City.
