Bob Pette

Bob Pette

Chief Operating Officer and Interim CEO

Bob joined Perceptive Pixel Inc. from NVIDIA Corporation, where he was vice president, global solutions, responsible for building a team of solution specialists that showcased NVIDIA’s visual computing technologies for the Quadro and Tesla brands. Before NVIDIA, Bob spent 21 years at Silicon Graphics where he held positions in systems engineering; visualization hardware and software product development; applications engineering; customer services; operations; and corporate marketing. Bob became the Interim CEO in December of 2011.

Bob received his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech and his B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Tampa.

 
Jeff Han

Jeff Han

Founder, Chief Technology Officer

Jeff Han is the founder and chief technology officer of Perceptive Pixel. Jeff is credited for dramatically introducing multi-touch to the mainstream through his demo at the TED conference (2006). The publication of his techniques has led to a resurgence of research and practice in the field.

Jeff’s work has traditionally encompassed the fields of computer graphics and multimedia systems, but is now refocused towards machine learning and HCI (human-computer interaction). Jeff has built Perceptive Pixel into a successful, profitable and rapidly growing business working with top-tier partners in such industries as government, defense/intelligence, media & entertainment, energy/oil & gas, and higher education.

Among other honors, Jeff was named to the Time 100 Most Influential Persons list in 2008. He continues to contribute frequently to research communities and publications.

Jeff was formally trained in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Cornell University, where he worked on the innovative CU-SeeMe videoconferencing system.

 
Fred Allman

Fred Allman

Vice President, Sales

Fred is a senior sales executive with over 22 years of sales leadership experience in the high tech industry. He’s built a proven record of revenue growth results through creation of high-performance teams, relentless customer focus and excellent execution. Fred has held senior sales leadership positions in start-ups, mid-size and large companies including Silicon Graphics, SiCortex, IBM and Hewlett-Packard.

Fred holds a B.S. in Political Science and a B.A. in Economics from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

 Thomas Altier, CPA

 Chief Financial Officer

Tom brings over 25 years of financial management experience to Perceptive Pixel. He has a career foundation in a “Big Five” accounting firm, as well as experience with publicly traded companies; privately owned companies; small and midsize startups; and turnaround situations.

Prior to joining Perceptive Pixel, Tom was chief financial officer at CyberShift, a workforce and expense management software solutions and services company. Previously he held positions at Faulkner and Gray, a $75 million a division of Thompson Reuters; Dorling Kindersley Inc., a $100 million US subsidiary of an acclaimed UK-based reference book publisher; and JPT Publishing, Inc. a highly successful venture-backed database publisher. Tom spent 10 years with Price Waterhouse at the beginning of his career.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts, in addition to a Master of Business Administration, from Columbia University.                          

 
David Slobodin

Diane Carlson

Vice President, Marketing

Diane brings over 20 years of marketing brand, communications and demand generation experience to Perceptive Pixel.

Prior to joining Perceptive Pixel, Diane held vice president of marketing positions at Sparta Systems, a quality management software solution serving the life sciences industry; IntraLinks, a software-as-service provider of online workspaces for secure document exchange; and Avero, a business intelligence software-as-service solution for the hospitality industry. Diane spent 10 years in the San Francisco Bay area with Sun Microsystems and helped launch Business 2.0, a key magazine and website to Internet architects during the ‘90s boom.

Diane started her career in the advertising industry working for some of the most respected creative agencies including Ammirati & Puris and J. Walter Thompson.

Diane has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Rochester.

 
David Slobodin

David Slobodin

Vice President, Hardware

Dave has more than 20 years experience developing and commercializing innovative display and electronic imaging products. He manages all hardware research and development and production at Perceptive Pixel. Prior to joining Perceptive Pixel, Dave held executive positions at White Electronic Designs Display Systems Division (VP/General Manager), InFocus (CTO), Silicon Light Machines (Engineering Manager), DARPA (Program Manager), Greyhawk Systems and Polaroid.

Dave holds a Ph.D. EE from Princeton University, and a B.S. EE from MIT. He has 23 issued U.S. patents.
